A new resort development with 87 key hotel, 62 standalone villas and bungalows, substantial facilities, pools, marina and beach.
Architect: WATG
For: Fairmont Hotels
To achieve the Architect’s vision, the project requires substantial cut and fill of the base rock across the site to form the platforms for development as well as the marina whilst relocating a road and river.
The buildings respond to the local environment and seismic activity, being designed in an innovative mix of reinforced concrete and Cross Laminated Timber.
