Recent Graduates at Engenuiti

We have handed over to some of our recent graduates, so they can share their perspectives on the Engenuiti graduate programme to date.

Éadaoin, and Sara joined us in September 2025. Qistina joined us in 2023 and has since been promoted.

Joining Engenuiti as a graduate has given me the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, from large leisure centres to smaller-scale buildings. I’ve particularly enjoyed working on timber projects, both new-build and refurbishment, and exploring how sustainability influences material choices and the design process.

I’ve also enjoyed being part of the CPD team and seeing Engenuiti’s commitment to learning and development. During my first year, I’ve completed a Grasshopper course and attended internal learning sessions, which have helped me learn from colleagues’ experience and gain a better understanding of the work happening across the company.

What I’ve enjoyed most about my first year is the people and culture at Engenuiti. Everyone is approachable, and graduates are trusted with responsibility while having support available when needed. I’ve learnt a huge amount over the past year and become more confident in my abilities. I’m excited to continue building my technical knowledge, gaining experience and developing my career at Engenuiti.

After studying structural engineering and architecture at university, Engenuiti felt like the perfect fit to continue with sustainable, creative design. The ethos throughout the company is shown in our projects and makes it very motivating, knowing you're making a positive impact on the industry.

From day one I felt so welcomed and supported through my development as an engineer, having monthly catch-ups with my mentor and monthly chartership exam preparation sessions. Although chartership is still some way down the road, I know I’ll be encouraged and supported throughout the process.

The projects I’ve worked on so far have included a variety of timber and steel structures, with work on existing buildings being a particular interest of mine. There’s also the freedom to explore different types of projects and express preferences about the work you take on. This has allowed me to learn a great deal while working on projects I genuinely enjoy.

Qistina

Four years ago, I graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. After spending my first year working as both a Civil and Structural Engineer, I moved to London and joined Engenuiti. This September marks three years with the company, giving me an opportunity to reflect on how much I’ve developed since joining as a Graduate Engineer.

I was made to feel welcome from day one, and the supportive culture at Engenuiti has played a significant role in my development. Colleagues are always willing to share their knowledge and help me build my technical skills and confidence. I’ve also enjoyed working across a variety of projects, from leisure centres to schools, gaining experience at different stages of the design process and learning how different aspects of engineering come together.

I’m grateful to the people who have supported me throughout my time at Engenuiti. The company has given me a strong foundation to develop as an engineer, take on new challenges and continue growing in confidence.
