Structural Project Engineers


We continue to win a number of exciting projects, both in the UK and internationally, and are searching for Structural Project Engineers to join and help develop our growing team.

We work collaboratively and rigorously. We have a strong focus on individualised development, and you will be become expert in a wide variety of fields. You will collaborate with colleagues on interesting and complex projects. We believe we can solve pretty much anything.


You will need to bring a high level of technical skill coupled with an enthusiasm for your projects. You will be motivated to learn, enjoy solving problems and delivering with detail and accuracy.


We expect you to be proactively working towards chartership of a relevant engineering institution and committed to undertaking training and attending external industry functions and lectures to maintain and develop industry awareness.


Your responsibilities and skills will include:


An ability to contribute to the development of viable structural solutions, within the scope of a design brief, taking account of structural stability, durability, aesthetics, sustainability and cost.


Developed skills to carry out analysis and design of structural forms including an ability to contribute to the specification and co-ordination of materials – steel, concrete, masonry and timber.


Knowledge of the Eurocodes, other design guidance and a demonstrable range of construction techniques, together with the skill to apply these appropriately in design situations.


An awareness of relevant environmental, societal, sustainability and economic issues, and associated legislation.


An ability to communicate effectively and to explain engineering principles and work undertaken to other engineers bringing both strong verbal and written communication skills


The production of drawings, sketches and reports that convey the appropriate level of detail and standard of presentation, together with an ability to manage project outputs against deliverables.


Communicates effectively with our Clients, collaborators and other project engineers and technicians to ensure the successful delivery of all tasks to agreed project stages.


Knowledge of Revit would be an advantage.


Our studio is based at The Ministry in Borough which provides a hub focussed on wellbeing for all our team. We operate super-flexible working arrangements allowing staff to balance studio and home working time, supported by high spec IT infrastructure and a collaborative team.
