Senior Civil Engineers

We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with 4-8 years of experience in a design-based role. We would love to hear from you if you are enthusiastic, bring strong experience in Civil 3D, surface water modelling and pavement design and are motivated to learn, solve problems and deliver with detail.

You will work at all stages of design, across a range of interesting and challenging projects. You will liaise widely with our clients and collaborators, whilst benefitting from our culture of personal development and support. We foster a flat structure where ideas are encouraged from everyone and learning is shared.

You will take responsibility for your own drawing and report outputs and contribute to design reviews across all our projects. You will have experience in the preparation of FRAs and Sectional Agreement submissions. You will either be Chartered, Incorporated or actively working towards this. If needed, we will provide proactive support towards gaining your professional qualifications through our accredited ICE Training Agreement.

We welcome applicants with:

• A degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Membership of the ICE (or near Chartered)
• 4+ years post graduate experience, minimum 2 years in a UK consultancy
• Demonstrable skill in Civil 3D and Flow/Microdrainage
• An ability to organise, manage and deliver packages of design work
• Varied experience with a focus on drainage including SuDS, FRA, stage reports, LLFA submissions; earthwork analysis and some highways experience would be an advantage
• Broad experience in gaining approvals from statutory authorities (SuDS approvals, S106, S278 etc.)
• Extensive experience in liaising with client and design teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
