PROJECTS
THE CIRCLE PENTHOUSE

Client:  Field Day Developments

Architect:  Waugh Thistleton Architects

‘The Circle’ on Queen Elizabeth Street was originally designed in a post-modern style by CZWG and is considered an important building from this period.

The penthouses project, designed with Waugh Thistleton Architects, is the development of four new roof top apartments for The Circle building.

The Penthouses will form a ‘crown’ for The Circle building, clad in a gold lightweight metal facade which will be intermittently visible from the ground level.  The design gives consideration to the existing structure and post-modern style, with the gold cladding of the penthouses referencing the window frames of the existing building.

Engenuiti is providing structural and advanced timber engineering on the project and the structural solutions currently being considered are SIPS, CLT and glulam and glulam, steel and timber frame.
