Working with Tate Harmer Architects to develop design proposals for Phase 2 of The Brunel Museums Development in support of a HLF funding application.
The proposal will include additional space for community engagement providing learning, research and training facilities; new meeting facilities for staff; new visitor amenities including additional cloakroom and toilet facilities; enhanced streetscape, riverscape and links with other local heritage as well as improved external signage.
Engenuiti is providing structural and civil engineering services including preliminary assessment of the condition of the existing fabric of the buildings and the future development opportunities and constraints for the site. In particular Flood Risk given the museum’s adjacency to the River Thames and the London Overground (original Brunel) tunnel beneath the site.
